IBO Facts: Straight Answers to Tough Questions
I'd like to take a closer look at the IBOAI's list of 21 questions and their 'straight' answers. So over the next few weeks, let's see what we can glean from the infinite wisdom of the elected board that makes up the IBOAI.
The twelfth question on the list is this:
Is one IBO organization or group better than another?
To which the IBOAI answers:
This business is comprised of numerous IBO organizations who sometimes differ on the approach to building an independent business. However, while groups and organizations may be somewhat different, none are considered to be “better” than another. All IBOs and their respective organizations operate under the Independent Business Ownership Plan and Rules of Conduct.
I couldn't agree more.

Have to disagree. Sure, there are rules to which all IBO organizations are supposed to abide, but since very few of them do, I cannot agree that all IBO orgs operate under the rules.
If the rules were enforced equitably and strictly by the corporation, things might be different.

Dang, I knew someone would catch that part. The part I couldn't agree more with and to which I link to for example is the part about them all being the same
To tell you the truth, I don't think all of them ARE the same. There are a few (precious few) that seem to be trying to do the business by the book and encourage retailing and minimal use/sale of tools.
How much success those few (precious few) organizations will ever enjoy is a matter for speculation and argument. Personally, I think there are enough of them that are the same (on the dark side) that ALL orgs, no matter how upstanding they may be, will be taken down when the AQMOs eventually fall.
